La vie en Rose draait om zorgeloosheid,
genieten, en het leven zien door een roze bril.
Het gehele jaar door, bereiden Pierre et Eric gerechten van de verfijnde “ bourgeois” keuken en van de boerenkeuken; kortom een Tour de France langs zijn specialiteiten.
Dit is het Frankrijk uit de jaren ‘ 50, met een staatsieportret van Le General de Gaulle, eten onder muzikaal omlijste door, Piaf, Aznavour, Brel. Frankrijk van de brasseries en de kleine bistrots, op fietsafstand, voor alle publiek, in de residentie, waar echt Frans wordt gesproken, en waar een Franse atmosfeer heerst;
Vrijdag en Zaterdag avonden, au piano, Maud et Guillaume En de patron chantant »zullen het Parisienne sfeer van « Montmartre »en « la vie en rose » voor u creëren. Tijdens de « Parijse » avond in het hartje van Den Haag zullen we met 2 muzikale intermezzo’s U terug voeren naar de Franse chansons van uw jeugd. Vanaf +/- 20.30 u.
Hierbij brengen wij U tevens op de hoogte, van het feit dat u diverse gerechten bij de Chef kunt bestellen,voor 50% van de à la carte prijs, afhankelijk van de voorraad en de drukte van de dag; indien mogelijk graag, verzoeken u drie dagen van tevoren te bestellen; ook maken wij u er op attent dat wij niet aan huis bezorgen.

La France des petits plats et des bonnes recettes de grand-mère, la France bourgeoise, la France gourmande, la France si près de chez vous que l’on y vient à pied ou à vélo ! Régulièrement le Bistrot de la Place vous propose des soirées avec un accompagnement musical au piano (€ 5.00 pp), sous la main de nos pianistes maison « Maud et Guillaume», certainement le plus grand répertoire de chansons Françaises à La Haye. Notre piano est aussi à votre disposition si l’envie vous prend.
En fonction des conditions météorologiques, notre terrasse, chauffée couverte et fermée, est ouverte, pour y accueillir surtout les fumeurs.
Tous nos plats peuvent être commandés pour être emportés, pour 50% du prix de la carte. Commande au minimum avec 2 jours d’intervalle, et en fonction de la disponibilité.

What springs to mind when you’re wondering where to go for a decent French meal tonight? Le Bistrot de la Place is old-fashioned Paris, like it was in the ‘50s. Memories of Brel, Aznavour and Piaf, French ‘Joie de Vivre’ with excellent food and a good glass of wine…a typically French setting…French music …French-speaking waiters… here in The Hague you can take a walk to France…
Throughout the year Pierre and Eric creates seasonal dishes from traditional rural France, all with the taste of home cooking. A culinary ‘Tour de France’ including regional dishes and long forgotten recipes.
Le Bistrot de la Place has one of the most extensive wine lists in the Netherlands, including a selection of more than 145 different Crus.
DINER “CHANSONS FRANÇAISES”. We have live music provided by our resident FRENCH pianists, Maud and Guillaume, who plays the widest repertoire of French songs in The Hague. Every Friday and Saturday …A French chansons evening. Our piano is also available to those guests who are moved to contribute to the evening, and entertain their friends. Dinner from 18.00u. €5.00 pp .for the music. Music from +/- 20.00h.
Depending on the weather, our terrace opens from mid-May through to mid-September (seating for approximately 25).

All dishes can be ordered to be taken away for 50% of the price of the card. Order at least two days before, and depending on the availability.
